North Texas Policy Interests
At BioNTX, we are committed to advancing policies that drive life sciences and healthcare innovation at both the state and federal levels. Legislative efforts in Texas and across the nation play a crucial role in fostering research, investment, and the development of cutting-edge medical technologies. In addition to monitoring dozens of bills that may have an impact on the life sciences industry, these are some of the key policies we support, aimed at building a healthier and more innovative future.
Strengthening Our Ecosystem:
Why Proposition 14 Funding for DPRIT Matters
Vote “Yes” on Proposition 14 on November 4, 2025 to fund the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas DPRIT with 3 billion dollars over 10 years. This investment will create the nation’s largest state funded dementia research program, supporting groundbreaking research, accelerating the development of new treatments and prevention strategies, and advancing potential cures.
Proposition 14 will provide critical resources for scientists and medical professionals, strengthen Texas as a center of innovation in healthcare, and offer hope to families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias, positioning our state as a leader in the fight against one of the most devastating diseases of our time.
